S&K LABEL company was established in 1991 as a specialised printing company producing high-quality self-adhesive labels. Thanks to high-quality production S&K LABEL as the first Czech company became in 1993 member of International Association of Self-adhesives Label Producers FINAT (Féderation INternationale des fabricants et transformateurs d'Adhésifs et Thermocollants).
During longer than 15-year-existence on the Czech self adhesive market, number of mainly flexoprinting presses became a part of S&K LABEL Production Park. Nowadays S&K LABEL operates 13 UV flexo presses from companies Nilpeter and Mark Andy together with digital printing press HP Indigo ws4500 from Hewlett-Packard, put into operation in July 2008.
On a European scale S&K LABEL is a medium-sized organization with almost 150 employees. The consumption of self-adhesive materials in last year exceeded 16,5 million sqm, what represents approximately 25% share of Czech self-adhesive-label market.
S&K LABEL is a member of S&K GROUP. S&K company started already in 1990 as a small advertising agency focusing predominantly on print production. Soon it began to specialize in self-adhesive promotional labels. Thanks to rapid expansion in 1991 organisation changes were realized and 6 specialized companies started to rise up: S&K LABEL, S&K KONTAKT, S&K PUBLIC, S&K TOOLS, S&K MOTION and MONECO. Today, these companies together forms group of companies S&K GROUP.
Dynamic development of packaging technology, the market and growing demand for quality, flexibility, communication and other indexes force the company to leave rented production and administrative premises in the centre of Brno, where company used to operate since 1993. In 2006 the construction work of manufacturing and administrative facility in the industrial zone Kuřim was started and January 2008 company S&K LABEL operates in the newly built modern production plant in Kuřim at the following address: Blanenská 1860 – Industrial Zone, 664 34 Kuřim, Czech Republic.
